Departmental Reports:
Communications from the Council: Council Member Kulczyk – requests approval of a resolution dedicating the Ridge Road Bridge to be named the Centennial Bridge . Communications from Department/Division Heads: City Attorney – requests approval of resolution approving the agreement with the county pertaining to ice and snow removal from streets within the city. City Clerk – requests transfer of funds to update Clerk's Accounting system, to prepare for city taking over the dog licensing. (NYS will no longer be handling dog licensing. Director of Development – requests City Council direct city clerk to advertise for bids for demolition of 21 Cooke Street . City Comptroller – advises Council of transfers made to balance most of 2009-2010 accounts. Comm. Of Public Works – requests a special line item be created for the emergency repairs at the DPW Building , including insurance monies and deductibles. Miscellaneous Ken Motyka, Arthur Pluta – requests Council adopt a resolution certifying that they shall be entitled to all retirement benefits as thirty year employees. David Szafranski – requests the Council allow him to retire with health benefits as a twenty year employee. Steven Horvath, Little Loop Football - requests use of Veterans Stadium on Monday evenings beginning September 13 th through Monday, October 23, 2010. Resolutions: A resolution dedicating and renaming the Ridge Road Bridge to Centennial Bridge . A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Erie County for the ice and snow control of streets within the city. Ordinances: An ordinance transferring $4000 from the General fund to City Clerk Acct. A1410.468, software maintenance to update the Clerks Accounting System to accommodate taking over dog licenses from NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets.
