Regular session of the Lackawanna City Council met in the Council Chambers, Council President Ronald R. Spadone presiding.   The meeting was preceded by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Council President Spadone

My office has received an offer from David Sihniewski to purchase SBL142.77-4-7.1 a parcel located at 43 Roland for $800. It is my recommendation to sell the parcel plus cost of survey if needed.

Ordinances

Sale of Property – Abdul Ahmed

An ordinance awarding the sale of property known as SBL141.44-4.30-1 to Abdul Ahmed for the sale price of $100 in cash. The deed shall contain a reverter clause providing for a reversion to the city unless the deed is recorded in the Erie County Clerk's Office within 30 days of its delivery. City Attorney to prepare necessary documents for transfer of property.

Johnson Street – Eliminating One Way Roadway

An ordinance amending Chapter 215.7 – One way Roadways, eliminating the following one way roadway and allowing traffic to traverse in both directions on Johnson Street.

Johnson Street – Stop Intersection

An ordinance amending Chapter 215.22 – stop Intersections to include the following:

Johnson Street @ Roland Avenue with a stop sign erected at southwest corner of Johnson Street.

Traffic Ordinance – Holland Avenue

An ordinance amending Chapter 215.64 of the Municipal Code restricting parking on Holland Avenue is rescinded and reenacted as follows:

Section 215.64.94 Holland Avenue

No parking any time on the east or west side of Holland from its intersection of either line of Holland Avenue with the south line of Ridge Road a distance of 150 feet south of said intersecting line at any time

Alternate parking

On the west side

Beginning 150 feet south of the intersection of the south line of Ridge Road with the west line of Holland Avenue no parking from 6 pm Sunday to 6 pm Wednesday

On the east side

Beginning 150 feet south of the intersection of the south line of Ridge Road with the east line of Holland Avenue, no parking from 6 pm Wednesday to 6pm Sunday.
