JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT- The Lackawanna Police Department has applied for the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Stimulus Funding as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 under the Recovery Act Edward Byrne Memorial Grant Program. The requested grant funds will be used to purchase Police equipment, radar guns and to set up dedicated quality of life supplemental patrols from July 1st through Labor Day for the next three years.- Police Chief James Michel
